Third attempt of a star trail image. Much nicer than my first try, in my opinion. Β These are fun!
Located in the Similkameen, British Columbia

Please excuse my ignorance, but how the hell did you do this? How long did it take?

Sorry for the late reply! It's a series of about 45 photos all merged into one picture. Each exposure was 3 minutes. I just found a place that was more or less free of any other light pollution, and left my camera to take the photos while I went home to watch TV. haha! After a couple hours, I went back to pick up the camera, and it was actually the headlights sweeping against the foreground during the last exposure that made the ground more visible.
