It's very special period of time in his live. And it's gripping.
For me, he never looks like stereotypical wise old man. When we are looking at him at first time in the HP and the Philosopher's Stone - "Nothing like this man had ever been seen in Privet drive"))
He is too ingenious talanted magnetical unusual man and wizard but he has trembling heart and many different feelings and pain incide like everyone of us.
