Description EDIT- Tried to make the foreground more pronounced. Failed. -_-;

Northeastern Germany, August, 2026:

The European Union's 202nd infantry brigade, in a joint operation with the EU's 15th Air-Defense squadron, move to intercept elements of China's 6th armored division as they move over the gradually advancing Burke Glacier. After the crossing of the Polish border by Chinese forces in earlier weeks, the 202nd would become Germany's first line of defense in the upcoming battles, which would render the valley below into a bloodbath.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Discovered the gradient tool. Oh joy...

First piece of Pre-W4STE art. I figured I was getting rusty on my military stuff. I figured it could use more, but after trying to add more stuff, realized that'd make it too busy. So, I just left it as-is.

If you look in the small crest between the glacier and the foremost mountainside, you can see a pair of Chinese helicopters inbound.

Inspired after looking through 's gallery.

Oh, would you please do a more detailed single-view of the assault carabine that the soldier in the foreground carries? I love the design.

Indeed, I would certainly hope not. Quite a tragic- albeit not very ironic- conclusion to civilization.

Yup.

Especially Chinese that are motivated to take over Europe as their homeland is freezing over.

(But then again, so is Europe)

Sun Tzu has nothing to do with it when you have nukes and a shitload of soldiers.

Thing, is, though, the Chinese at early parts of the war aren't stupid enough to use nukes. They drop to that level of stupidity later, when the EU and US does. ^^

Well, aside from the obvious; they also have thousands of years of history on war and tactics. Ever heard of Sun Tzu?

Nope.

My entire knowledge of the Chinese Military comes from Command and Conquer: Generals.

Okay then, let me help you.

Sun Tzu was a Chinese philosopher who was a genius at managing conflicts with clear victories. He eve wrote a book titled: The Art of War. The book was, and still is widely accepted as a masterpiece on strategy and has been referenced by generals and theorists throughout history.

Just look him up and you'll know just how powerful China truly is (and I'm not just talking about military strength... newbie).

Command and Conquer Generals is awesome; if you've noticed, the Chinese riflemen infantry even say, "Sun Tzu would be proud!" as one of their quotes.

Oh, him! I had dimly heard of the Art of the War, but never really associated it with anyone in particular. But heck, he seems (ed?) awesome and had a good way with concubines, apparantly.

XD.

I should pay more attention to the quotes, huh?
