Description One does not simply bring a Mechanist flowers.

Here is the coloured version. :3
Was quite fun to paint again with watercolours, I even got used to this brand of paper (yay, now that only 2 papers are left in the block I can handle it).

Anyway. What inspired me was my tumblr inbox, which is full of Robin hood pictures at the moment, several episodes of the show that I watched during last week and talks about Richard Armitage, who undoubtedly looks like Truart when he plays Guy of Gisbourne, Not to mention that Lucy Griffith reminds me of Nehema every single time I see her as Marian. But the picture itself I found in a magasine about perfume a while ago. And the two models on it looked like Truart and Hemy as well. u_u A conspiracy. So I finally gave it a try and made my version of Lovestruck. Changed some details here and there, but overall, it gives the impression of the advertisement.

This picture and the line "Can you tell me another lie", what would fit them better? To quote Silena loosely: "The line and the picture resemble love perfectly."

Nothing is true, everything's a fake.

Ever danced with the devil baby? Oh no
Make my day
Do you feel lucky? Oh no
Tomorrow's another day

Interesting to see a coloured version of this, the same and yet so different.
Paints of any kind don't agree with me, so I'm going at everyone who can deal with them. I've given up trying watercolours long ago because it only turns into a mess. They seem to be in very friendly terms with you though, you did such a lovely work colouring this.

Thank you
Watercolours can be quite tricy and mean, that's true. And it also depends a lot on the paper you paint on. I get along better with very fine paper, for example. Maybe you should try again some time.

You're always welcome.
Maybe I should try again... I do have watercolours gathering dust somewhere, and also some paper, I guess. It's just been so long that I have absolutely no idea anymore how to use them (if I ever had... you have to dig very deep to find a painting in my gallery, but there is at least one, from year 2004: [link] - a mess I'm not too fond of)... or more likely what not to do with them... to not ruin the paper etc. Cannot even remember how you keep the paper from getting all wrinkled? I feel like I'd need a techique to be able to paint - while drawing without any correct technique seems like much less of a crime.

If you want I could show you via webcam how I paint xD maybe that helps.
And on another note, the picture looks fine to me. but I see what you mean, it's hard to make a picture with a medium that has no chance of being corrected. Same is with Markers. If you make a mistake, you can't undo it.

That might be fun, you giving me painting lessons. Even if I wouldn't learn anything, I'm sure I'd have fun watching. Hmm... where shall we start? By picking an interesting model?

I'm the perfectionist, I cannot live with mistakes. I guess that's why I stick to pencil, even coloured pencils can be nightmarish. Maybe I'm a control freak... I guess these are the reasons why I always end up killing my will to draw even with pencils. Too many failures just get to me and I give up - and don't know how to start again.

Yes, pick a good model for me I'd love to do a livedrawing session, too
Mh, pencil pictures are good though. You could still colour them on the pc

How much time are you going to waste on wondering what I'll throw at you as a reference for a live drawings/painting some time, if you really want to do it? It would be a tough choice though, because it couldn't be any image I really want to draw myself. Hmm...

OH DEAR. WHERE IS THE QUOTATION?! Can you tell me another lie???

Really, the picture is well done, but I liked the previous version more. The meaning was remarkable. But you can always bring it back to like (ask Zayl). I can see Nehema smiling: - Are those sweet flowers really for me??? Woooow!!!

Then she takes them from Trouty and goes back into her apartment to put them into water. Truart tries to get onto the balcony, but instead, he's smacked at his face ("What the...?!"). Hemy replies: - I never let couriers into my house, my house is my castle!

The prose of life.

The quotation is in the title
lol, ah, she is not that mean. But she wouldn't even take the flowers. they'd be dead other day anyway.

That's true, not to mention that posing as a Mechanist and having flowers in your room excludes each other.
