it doesnt quite feel like its completely finished... id like to add a background so if there are any suggestions.. please! dont hesitate to let me know!

You had any references for this? If none, I'm utterly shocked(out of amazement)...
Your shadings are so good, and it's still so clean!!(I never had a pencil work which turned out clean, at least before PS)... the only thing here is that some of the lines are too angular...

and thanks about the shadding. i was shocked on how clean it is as well..and im supprised that i didnt wrinkle the paper any too lol that always happens lol

This is AWESOME.
I could never do so much shading and leave it in just pencil. That may be due to me being left handed and the pencil smears everywhere. Lol.
I think it looks perfectly fine with the plain background.

It's definitely a strong start. I'd probably bump up the highlights with just white rather than blue and the low lights with either really dark blue or black then maybe add a purplely/indigo background... maybe add some more reds and oranges to contrast the blue. Right it's... well for a lack of a better word... too blue. All in all I think this has potential to look really cool

O.o its accually pencil.. but what you say would look really cool. i wish i could be like all of these talented people who knows how to digitaly color thier pictures. lol i would try it that way.. but for me it'd turn into a disaster lol...

Layers... it's all about having lots a of layers so that you can never "mess up" your original
