I can't wait, I'm super psyched for the trip, I went camera hunting today and scoped out a few ideas, thinking about getting a Canon SLR XS thing. Its not quite like the old school minolta my parents had... I love that camera, but its time for a new digital camera.

The quality of canons pics are far superior than any digital camera I've seen so far. I found some comparisons online and canons came out on top, the others just get grainy or loose vibrant colors. It is possible that the comparisons have been doctored up in canons favor but, I'm definitely going with canon either way. Thanks for sharing your experience! It makes me happy to hear of other canon lovers out there! I can't wait to get it and PLAY!!!
