Hmm, but in Dark Souls 2 you could have really white hair that almost glowed, so it's a bit disappointing that light hair didn't work in Dark Souls 3!

i guess DS3 went for a more natural white rather than a bright white, if it helps the different environments in 3 with the different lighting make it look more white

But that also made it impossible to make a blonde character, so I don't agree with whatever they did... I still think it might be as my brother said once, they used Bloodborne's engine but forgot to add the "hair highlights" colour!

well blonde is pretty easy, you were still allowed golden hair (my faith character has that)
issue is that it is either light (pretty much white) or solid gold
i think they also lacked bloodbornes lighting really, though maybe that was just due to the day light your always in

Makes me really wonder if it was an issue only some people had, I never found out about that - I absolutely couldn't get characters with light hair that didn't look super dirty! Not that it really matters now

compared my sorcery character to the fire link person (comparing how white the hair was) and now i see it, my character just has light gray instead

So in the event of a time crunch do what you can to the best of your abilities. Focus on points you can improve, practice in different themes and styles to always be able to do what even work may come your way.
