A quick doodle (is that all I'm good for lately?!) of Rayman, because I've been playing Rayman and Rayman 2 and thought I should contribute some fanart. xD...And I thought he would be fun to draw.
Anyway, I just finished Rayman 2, and I think my favourite character(?) was the Shell (well, maybe after the Teensies). IT'S LIKE AN ADORABLE EXPLODING PONY. : D And even though the shell-race parts of the game were a little nerve-wracking, they had that awesome music to keep me going.
Yay for the Shell. XD

Sorry about the delay. Catching up on my alerts.
You did a great job on the sense of motion - I'd say Rayman's hair looks a bit odd, but that's all I can really criticise. (Er, sorry if you don't want critique. I wish they hadn't messed with the Critique Discouraged/Encouraged system.)
I only really played the first game and the beginning of the second game, but I've heard the second game's soundtrack. Fantastic stuff.
Er, to keep it focused on your piece, this looks almost like a book illustration in its charming simplicity. I like it.

this is really a funny picture of Rayman riding the shell
but when i first saw the shell in actuall game
it looked like a stubby pencil with legs and exploding eraser on flames XD

The Shell is just about the best thing in Rayman (after the Teensies, like you said).
And the music is win.

I downloaded, like, the entire game's music track once; I've since deleted some of the tracks (The Bayou was, like, seventeen minutes long ._. ) but I still have a ton saved. Though I might be able to hunt down the original place I downloaded it from P:
