Personality: Shani has a determined way about her with a little
rebelliousness. She's easily distracted, but always tries to do the
best she can at her job. Shani is sometimes gullible if you try to
convince her enough about something. One thing she hates more
than anything is when someone drags another cat through the
dirt. Even if she doesn't know them, she'll gladly defend them.
Shani is a very loving, compassionate cat and loves her tribe
mates like family. On occasion she can be pretentious and snarky,
but it's more or less her way of defending herself.

(Brief) History: As a cub growing up, Shani was named by her
mother because of her reddish coat. Although it was darker than
a normal cheetah coat, she liked to play in the dirt where she
could hide better from her siblings. Her father was harsh, always
making sure Shani and her siblings worked hard to become good
hunters. She had always been a good hunter, but her father
continually pushed her harder and harder to become better. One
night her mother fell ill, but her father convinced them that she
was fine and to continue their training. When they returned, her
mother could hardly lift her head. Shani was furious, shouting
that if they had stayed and actually used the ability of hunting
instead of only trying to better it that they could have saved her.
With her mother’s dying breath she gave Shani her rope
Neckpiece. She turned on her father, fighting him with all her
Might. In the end she managed to escape, but not without injury.
It took her almost a full year to recover from the gouges in her
Back, but she continued learning to hunt and fight on her own.
When she finally found the Tribe of Crooked Tree, she decided
That her hunting skills could be used for good instead of tragedy.

RP Example:
Shani entered the clearing, a field mouse in her jaws. She had
spent the whole morning searching for food, and nothing but
a field mouse.
‘At least it's a contribution...’ she repeated in her mind.
Looking down at her paws as she walked, she felt the grass tuck
in between her pawpads. She slowed to a stop and breathed deeply,
enjoying the su-
“Shani!”
She jumped, not expecting her name shouted. On the other hand,
she WAS distracted… again. Looking around she spotted Fumo
trotting towards her.
“Daydreaming again?” he smirked. Everyone in the Tribe knew
how easily distracted she was, but the only one who gave her a
bad time about it was Fumo. She scowled at him, forgetting about
the mouse in her mouth.
“Ih whas noth!” She rolled her eyes and dropped the rodent in the
grass, looking back up again quickly.
“I was not.” She tried to look defiant, but she felt her eyes sparkle
with laughter. He snorted and turned around, pointing his tail in
the sky.
“Whatever you say!” he threw over his shoulder. She shook her
head as he disappeared behind tall grass. Picking up the mouse
again, she made her way towards the Elder's Den, tail swooping
low towards the ground.

So here's my application I tried to make her pelt more of a brownish red than maroon, but I'm not sure if it's
natural enough. I did want it to look more red to fit her name
better
