Description

In an unprecedented political move, the Crystal Empire has voted to LEAVE the Equestrian Union (EU) today following the EU referendum.

The motion will see the Crystal Empire withdraw from the Equestrian Union in two years time, after which they will no longer have to abide by oppressive EU legislation that forces them to grow bananas to a certain length and trawl a specific number of fish from their shores.

Do YOU think leaving the EU is a good thing or a bad thing?

This is funny and all, but you seem to be ignoring the fact that this is actually going to affect some people's lives negatively. You know, my Mum cried for a day after this? It was really depressing.

Next time, if you want to get a point across, can you maybe present both sides of the argument? Please? It's not really my fault or anyone else's that half of the country are idiots so already seem to be regretting their decision.

It's called "satire and sensibility" for a reason.

I don't really know how to respond to this without sounding like a stuck-up prick, but yeah, I get that now. I didn't then, and considering the subject matter of this article I was probably a fair bit angry and upset at the time of writing that particular comment.

...Also, that shit's from mid 2016. Fashionably late?

Ahh haa haa! Cuddlepug! don't be too broken up over this. It will take two years to complete by which time the socialist community organisers will find a way to convince everypony you need to be governed by unelected bureaucrats from other countries. Yeah Briton needs someone else to pull its strings. You folks over there never recovered from losing the colonies of America. We helped you out a couple times but now we're kind of useless too. The real America died when politics became the end all be all of life here. SO sad. Sorry, you should have listened to our President. He told you folks how to vote. He tells a lot of people what to do.Β

Ahh I ramble. It's all a joke. A bad one. Here's to no identity!!! Cheers!

Do I think leaving the EU is a good thing? Well the people who it hurts the most are the globalist corporate elite that the left claims to hate so much, the kind that promotes wars and such as our ever globalizing society evolves into a neofuedal corporate technocracy. If you're a Zionist, then it's somewhat of a bad thing. A lot of the biggest support for Israel out of the EU came from Britain. Now with Britain no longer having a say in the EU, the other countries where BDS is more popular will become more decidedly anti Israel. Israeli politicians admit that they invested a lot into British politics as a way of keeping other EU nations in line so that they would crush any BDS and suppress free speech criticizing Israel's treatment of Gazans/Palestinians. It would make it harder for Israel to have such a strong strangle hold on all of Europe THROUGH some of their big powerhouses (US, UK).Β
Guess Celestia's Chosen Ponies are losing power and needed a big bully like UK to do their dirty work. No wonder they opposed brexit. Ironically, the same Zio-Neighst pony-ticians that push and push for europe to open up their borders to Economic Migrants (I won't say Syrian Refugees, because most of them aren't Syrian or Refugees. I stand with Syria and Palestine, and REAL refugees, but these are thugs that tagged along on the coat tails of the refugees. They wanted to capitalize off of people with a real problem so they could come into Europe and act like a bunch of rapist rejects from Jersey Shore. So, as to not insult the Syrian Refugees, I will refer to them as rapefugees, fakefugees, and Economic Migrants) but are damn near Nazi-Fascist about not letting anyone in their country, even fellow Jews who are a different color! So, the irony is that the people pushing for wide open borders, the left only plays one part in it. It's an unholy alliance of leftists, zionist supermacists, and ultra capitalists (somebody's gotta make money after all. Don't mean it will be me or you). And Globalist Zio POliticians are all for pushing for forced multiculturalism of the West, but absolute genetic purity for Israel-a nation founded by card carrying communist athiests that don't have a drop of Hebrew blood in them, but who's hooves drip with the blood of not only gaza and palestine, but also the victims of the Russian Holodomor and USS Liberty.Β
I will say, it is rather hypocritical and/or ironic that UK, one of the most recent globalist colonial super powers is now breaking away from the EU. It's almost like it was afraid of being colonized after colonizing other nations. I can see people's criticism of it after that.Β
"What, after imposing your authority over other nations, you can't handle the same thing done to you in a nice way?" Yeah, I could see some people judging UK for that.Β

I don't think the Crystal Empire would leave like that in that Equestria's rulers all pretty well married into one another and interconnected.

I had a theme in a fan fiction about a large county of earth ponies who choose to merge with the human controlled Nowhere Lands to avoid being ruled over by some magical alicorn Princess who is some tightly conceited related Celestia Royal Family Member. In that the earth ponies do this in that they feel that the humans being none magical at least feel they and the humans are the same page with one another about being none magical. Also they don't like how the princesses are pretty much born into power or appointed by Princess Celestia.

Also in the fan fiction the main villain Baal finds away to make the four Princesses of Equestria gravely sick and this causes power void. This causes theΒ  Diamond Dogs to invade the Crystal Empire to plunder it for gems. Which in turn causes the humans to come down from the north and have a major battle with the Diamond Dogs to keep them heading north into the Nowhere Lands.

It's political satire people. Used to spark a discussion (like it's done). Calm down. People often cope with distressing events using comedy. It's not like he's using one of the recent US mass shootings to get views. I understand this is a stressful time for the UK and people are split on it, and it's a raw subject. (The US has about 10 such hotly debated split-down-the-middle topics going on right now.) But you shouldn't demonize one person for their comedic take on it. It's just how some people process, even if you find it in poor taste.

REMEMBER, you may say: "Oh the OLD people who are gonna DIE soon voted to leave" WHY? Because they regretted remaining last time they voted.

I'm pretty interested in politics so I read up on the stuff externally and make a judgement for myself. ^^"

Though I see the benefits of the EU, it's just not what the UK originally joined it for, we originally joined the EU (Then the EEC) because our country was financially weak and struggling economically, and back then the EU was just about trade and a free market between all countries on equal terms, not what it is today. It was also kind-of a security against communism during the Cold War.
But we now have the 5th strongest economy in the World, and yes leaving may have been a shock to the global market, but we'll be able to sell certain produce to other countries outside of the EU at reasonable prices, it could even lead to the revival of the Steel and Coal Industries (where thousands of people lost their jobs to to EU regulations).

I think it's pretty ridiculous that people have gone around calling Brexiters racist, most people - if not all - just view people as people and think of the implications of an overpopulated country.

Don't feel sad, the people who wanted to leave the EU are quiet and aren't vociferous of their opinions, so you're probably feeling quite overwhelmed by the Remain Camp who're all butthurt they didn't win. ^^"

I'd probably go with, 'A person who spends most of their time revising or reading up on the world because they have nothing better to do'.

Eyhh, I want to go into politics when I'm older, so I'm pretty up-to-date with everything going on with politics, in the UK and with the rest of the World. Though I'd much rather a job as an American politician, British politics just gets so... sour... sometimes. ^^"

After the vote for independence in Scotland stuff like this happened but Scotland is fine now! (Well as much as it can be in Britain.) And don't be rude to over half the population asshole.

Give people...er, ponies some credit. This isn't all about people refusing to get along just because they have different skin tones and worship differently. Although idiots can make it look like that, we all know that it is NOT that black and white. There is a clash of civilization, and it's not a bunch of white people going "oh no, dark skinned people." Rapes have skyrocketed, and there's a lot of other little details they leave out that makes all the difference. Also, even if people didn't blame the muzzies for all their problems, they could see the immigrants being used by ultra capitalist corporate fuedalists and globalists seeking to destroy a nation economically THROUGH the crisis around immigration, with the blame in that regard falling neither on the immigrants or natives.
