Next in my fashion exploration series. Still going with the cool weather theme but I tend to find the black, black and more black of winter boring.Tried to continue to push the poses and types for each one while using the same items like shirts or shoes through out.

Man, these fashion studies are really quite taking. What I think I really like about them is not just the interesting designs, but also how each croquis has its own personality and subtly different body shape to go with the outfit. Love it.

Well, clothes do tend to be an extension/expression of a person's character, so it's probably not a way to tackle it in all reality. I remember doing industrial design at uni we often worked with "design personas", creating characters who represented our target market, and I imagine having a rough gist of the sort of person likely to wear an outfit probably makes visualising that easier as well.

Well for me hair is part of the overall feel of a look, it would have felt weird to me to just leave them all bald manikins.

You're welcome to use them as inspiration but I do encourage you to try and add you own take to it. That way you can learn how to become better at women's clothing
