Reed Optimus Matilda and Thomas:

In the japanese dub of the animated series Mobile suit Gundam (1979), Reed the lieutenant of the Earth Federation, was voiced by Tessho Genda, who would go on to do the voice of Optimus prime or Convoy in Japan, in the japanese dub of The Generation 1 Transformers series.

Matilda Ajan, the commander of the Medea Supply Unit, was voiced by Keiko Toda,

who would go on to do the voice of Thomas the tank engine, for the first eight seasons of

Thomas & Friends.
