A personality who revealed herself in a most recent dream of mine.I dreamed of a band of street cats, being a stranger among them (although i don't know whether i was a cat as well or something else). I remember that i needed some help or answers or whatever it was - and these cats told me: "Go to Bluebottle, she might help."
And then, they pushed me to an outsider cat who just looked worn out. Absolutely pitch-black, ruffled fur and so scrawny that her anatomy looked unatural (like a greyhound or something).
What i remember best was her fur which got unnaturally iridescent in sunlight - like....well. A blue bottle fly. It looked unreal, and it was the only thing that gave her some kind of illusionary beauty.
"Are you Bluebottle?" i asked and everything i got back was a terrible hissing sound, followed by words like these: "Riffraff, that is how they keep calling me! They shall all suffer in pain. Bambastarde, that is my real name! Piss off, you awkwardness!"
I can't get this cat out of my head now. You know, one of those dreams with a special vividness.
And i don't know who she really is. Perhaps some of the creatures that Xipe will have to deal with in time.

this reminds me of a book i read when i was like, 9. It was pretty interesting though all I remember is that it was about a weak-ish house cat who went outside his house to the streets where all the street cats lived/fought for territory and he saved... someone. It had illustrations throughout the book in the middle of paragraphs sometimes too. I cant remember the title but your picture reminded me of it.

It's mande even more awesome by the fact that she was in your dreams, I should really start paying more attention to characters in dreams and such, I love it when I have odd dreams, even if they're violent, it's so curiouser and curiouser.

omg sweet! i had a dream similar to yours but it was different cus mine was a wolf(same color maybe a slight lighter) and when it talked it was in a different language though so idk what it said -.- and it was a different background....more a blue forest and a blue(deep blue) pond....sorry this is long but really good artwork ^^ keep up the good work

Dude, work with this concept please! I love how you've first attempted to capture the blue bottle fly sheen, but I know you can do more with it to (I've been following your art for years).
And I like the personality and back story your subconcious created for this character; perhaps the more your explore this concept you'll figure out what she truly represents for you.
