Gift for because he is always so busy with making good gift arts for others ^^ it's about time that I make one for him. So this here is for you Keep up the great work buddy because your art is good.

It's a classic HTF portrait in the style of the old "book" opening similar to the gift which I made for Wopter here culu-bluebeaver.deviantart.com…

But this time I tried to stay as close as possible to the original which means: NO shading. In the original opening the characters have no shading too and since it's always my greatest goal to make something looking like it would actually come from the show I had no problem to draw it without any shading. I can't explain why I'm so in love with the idea to make pictures looking like they would come from a real show. But it is/was always a big success for me if I could give a picture this "screenshot-effect". That's why I don't add shading to many of my pics, because in the original shows no matter if "Happy Tree Friends" or "My Little Pony" there is often no shading too.

I use shading if I want to put a scene on a higher (more epic) level. So shading is an instrument for me to emphasise a special Moment. I would us it probably also in a specific moment which atmosphere could never be told without shading a scene arround a campfire for example or infront of a burning chimney.

Basically I like it better to make this "screenshot-effect" so I have often my own reason to add no shading, like I did here for example: culu-bluebeaver.deviantart.com…
