This is quite the lovely capture. You have an excellent title for it as well...I almost feel that this pose would work better with the title if the model weren't wearing any make-up. For me, serenity is synonymous with simplicity and honest reflection...and I think you could really make that point with a bare face. That's just one interpretation of course

Ah, a thought out comment. Thank you! About the make-up... originally I was taking pictures of a different model for a different purpose, but Jen was standing by the window with that look on her face and I just couldn't resist. I wasn't sure what I was going to do with the photo at the time or what it might later represent. Even if I had wanted her to take off the make-up we weren't anywhere where it could be easily done.
As for the placement of the model, because of the light and shadow on her face and the way she was looking, it made more sense to me to have her off to the left.
