Myself as Aerith Gainsborough from FFVII: Advent Children. Photo taken at the Northeast Cosplay Picnic 2006 by AdamN. This photoshoot was done in a beautiful meadow - blue sky, yellow flowers - it reminded me so much of the closing credits of Advent Children, and I think that is conveyed well through the photographer's work. My jacket is laying a tad sloppily here, but this is honestly one of few costumes that I can say I'm genuinely proud of the craftsmanship on. It was also my first major wig styling adventure, and to this date I'm amazed I pulled it off with as little knowledge as I had at the time. XD Proof that you have to start somewhere, y'know? I've photoshopped my eyes here, but I did eventually purchase contacts in that approximate colour. All additional editing to the photo [such as the blurring] was the photographer's choice. All aspects of the costume were constructed by me.
