Construction Notes:
My main downfall with Rinoa, and one that commonly plagues Rinoa cosplayers, was my inability to secure the correct ribknit for her duster. You can see in this detailed shot that the weight of the fabric is actually much too thin, though I did manage to find fabric with ribbing semi-comparable in width to hers. I did sponge-paint the skirt myself, since hers has a mottled colouring that I was unable to find pre-existing in denim. Costume and wig constructed/styled by myself.

You make a beautiful rinoa! I quite like the character but then again that's based purely on what I saw of her from dead fantasy xD I have recently downloaded all FF's (I to IX but not III and IV) for ma psp and am working through in order so will be a while before I get to you :/ looking forward to VI the most :3

Yeah I only met a few Rinaos who actually knitted there dusters and they said it took them about a month alone on that to make.

It rarely ends up looking correct when it's knitted, too, because a lot of people use chunky yarn. All in all, it's a huge pain in the patootie.

I didn't like Rinoa when the game first came out, but over time I came to adore her. I feel you've captured her spirit -- charming, sweet, a bit on the impish side when she wants to be -- with all of these.

I had too much trouble enjoying the game to concern myself with feeling any certain way about the characters.
That said, however, this is a beautiful cosplay, and one of my favorites you've done. Terra still takes the cake, but this is very, very good.
