Haha it's April isn't it oh god.It's been awhile. Again. Hm.
I'm currently procrastinating on homework soooo I may as well post some homework! I promise I'll be on more when this semester is over in 2.5 weeks (so much to do!), but for now it's kinda workworkwork.
Character environment study for digital, decided to take Ellyon for a spin. Had to go through a whole character-designing spree with her (which I might post later) and this was the final product.
Her and Kimren don't really get along in the beginning, haha. Kill order for blood mages, and all.

Just, good gosh your brilliant fucking composition and all the background detail and the COLOR. HOW YOU MANAGE TO MAKE PINK LOOK SO OMINOUS AND KICKASS I WILL NEVER EVEN KNOW, WOW. A-A-And just, dear god magic circles and the GODDAMN FUCKING INCREDIBLE OUTFIT DESIGNS, OOHHHHHHHHH MY GOOOOODDDDDDDDDD I saw your wips and everything on tumblr where I stalk you obsessively but seeing them in action is even better ohmygod Ellyonnnnn~!! A-A-And Kimren's patterned hood/collar just kinda caught my eye instantly, heheh~ ♥
B-B-But seriously man, the composition here and the exquisite detail work is just fantastic, and I just--don't even get me started on the colors man, I just, I can't, I don't even know how to word my awe at your use of color. D:

B-but thank you! This was really, REALLY fun to work on since I generally don't have time to gut into my characters like I used to, so abusing assignment constraints was a perfect fit for me! And I get to completely tear apart color sense because haha pink and yellow are the best things for tension I don't care what anyone says but I should.

A-A-And I'm also starting to understand this need to recuperate from art itself after a semester of arting, hahahah;;;
But yeah seriously your colors are the best and your ability to draw Primary/story-related things for school assignments is damn impressive hahahah, I haven't mastered that myself yet~ xD;
