There are some severe (SEVERE!!) storytelling issues with this, but I hope none of it is too confusing! I've been over it a few times with various people and we've pinpointed a lot of the more confusing points, so I may go back to this at some point and rework some of the panels (especially on page two!). I really want to try my hand at coloring it, too, since it's hard to tell the difference between terminal points without their corresponding color schemes.ANYWAY, this is a vaguely-placed segment of the Primary storyline. It's not exactly the opening, and it doesn't follow the same timeline as my prose version (as that version is much more focused on internal dialogue).
This was mainly an exercise for myself to prove that I could make this comic in preparation for my final project, or else I thought I'd be too afraid to ever touch it. I'm happy that I finally bit the bullet haha.

Because, I will admit, this moves pretty darn fast, mainly the first three pages?? And does this mean you're gonna do/re-do a way longer final project chapter?????????????
But seriously, man, I loved this. The second panel actually is one of my favorites, I really loved the way Ellyon's hair flowed from the closeup into the second panel, and just, the effects of her "appearing" I guess before Kimren with his adorable shocked face, though I will admit to being confused as to how she's getting the cuts! 8C
I'm guessing that Kimren's cut-in to the blood magic he's doing is him being... defensive, maybe? o:
But gosh oh gosh the scenes of the village, that transition/pacing is done superbly, and just, aaaaaah okay and then I lose all coherency with adorable Kimren standing there like that. ;-;
But seriously, we-we're gonna see more Primary, yes, yes, yes??? <:'3c
And jeez how long did it take you to do this?? Feels like this was done up within days, this came out so fast!! 8C

SO so so so so glad you're finally working on this, I know how absolutely terrifying it can be to even consider beginning a project for a story you've worked on for so long, but I'm sooooooo glad you are and and seeing this is like a dream come true aaaaauuuuuuuuggggghhhhhhhh!!!
