This is one of my favs in your gallery. I just can't get enough ...
Behind the lies-
I look into the mirror,
With brand new eyes
My body the paper,
My pens become knives.
I draw a face-
On my flesh, in the middle of my chest,
No mouth for her words, no nose, no ears-
Mother knows bestβ¦
Only eyes-
Wide open, and bleeding tears.
Deep into her eyes, I carve my masterpiece,
Colored in red, and blue-black blood ink,
The wound is mortal,
Itβs too late I think.
As I look at my Artwork in the mirror and die,
I see life⦠too late for me,
With brand new eyes.
