Yay! This is my final picture for my "summer" project on drawing all the Animals of Farthing Wood foxes. I had trouble thinking of a pose for this one that I hadn't already done. It was harder than it sounds!

Anyway, this is Plucky, in the TV series he's the son of Whisper and Bold (even though he looks nothing like him whatsoever), and in the books he's their grandson. I don't like him in the TV series and I never have. He's arrogant, spoiled, his design is rubbish, he has an irritating voice and should NEVER have been made leader after Fox. Fox only made him leader because he was red. My theory is that the only reason Fox indulged Plucky so much was because he felt guilty after Bold's death. He wasn't worth Bold dying.

It really grates on me that Plucky is the only new addition to the foxes in the final series. We don't see any of Ranger and Charmer's cubs (I'm convinced that they had some), or Friendly's, or any of Whisper's other cubs. Just bloody Plucky. They could have had Rusty too, and Pace, and Trip, or any of the other foxes in the books. Maybe I'd feel a bit better about Plucky if I actually liked him in any way. But I don't, so there. I'd go so far as to say that he's my most disliked main character in the ENTIRE series. That's right folks, you heard correct.

I'm still quite pleased with this one, I think it came out quite well. Plucky looks quite 'cubbish' too. The usual watercolour pencils were used here.
