Okay, will be new icon when I figure out how to get DA to accept it without pixelating it to death, BUT very happy with this!

For the people who have followed me the full few years I've been active on this account will know Spector as my long-standing sona. They are who I use as a me-representation and is one of the few characters I have that I'm unwilling to roleplay, because it's less of roleplay and more of just me? Idk, but Spec has a special place in my heart and in school I used to doodle them all over the margins of my notes. I didn't post much of it and now that Uni has me, I don't draw them. I don't know why? I guess because I usually worry over them too much? Or just that I like playing with my other characters? Whatever the reason, if you wander through my gallery, there is a notable lack of Spector drawings because I kinda finished stuff and never really drew them seriously again.

BUT, I wanted a new icon and while for Discord I change my icon rather frequently, I don't for Toyhouse or here. I wanted Spec still, but I didn't want to do pixel stuff. Sooooo, I kinda just thought, how about an update of the icon I've used for years?
Sure!

This took half the time, and I think shows significant improvement from the last time I updated my icon (about 2 years ago). This didn't occur to me til I was updating my Toyhouse and saw this:

A side by side with my old icon and it clicked that I really have improved over the past 2 years, though it hasn't felt like I have. It still takes me forever to get anything done, I still do a billion sketch that I abandon, I still look up body references, it hasn't felt like it has gotten easier, but it seems that I have improved. And that makes me ridiculously happy

SO, til I get DA to behave, I will just have to leave this here :3
