the lips do pull you right in. so hard id beadbutt you if i wasnt careful. ive always wanted to do self portraits. but honestly this is just as well...

I think the lighting gives it a kind of merit. It doesn't hace that kind of quasi-surrealism that professional magazine photoshoots have that makes you wonder why nothing in real life ever looks that good. It's not dull, but it's not insanely brilliant in color. I like it. Kickass job.

I like the effect of the shower curtain... and the red lips are definately vibrant and draws your attention. And as you said, i agree, the lighting kind of takes away from the photo, but otherwise I really like it. I can't explain why...just creative, I suppose.
