Chrome Notes: As Chrome is designed as a spacefaring android, her body lacks a respiratory system, making her mouth purely an ingress point for alternative fuels. However, in place of lungs, she does possess a small side passage in the throat area connected to a vocalization device, which in conjunction with her segmented tongue and velvet-like fiber lining inside her mouth can mimic human speech perfectly. This is to make her more pleasant to interact with, as a pure voice box cannot provide the range of emotive intonation that the human vocalization system can reach. The fiber lining in her mouth also makes it strangely comfortable to sit in, as extensive testing has concluded.

Rip Notes: The creature called 'Rip' is an insectoid monster that's usually confined to a subterranean habitat, only emerging occasionally to feed on surface-dwelling races. Its claws are made for digging, and several earthquakes around the coasts of the Gulf of Mexico are attributed to its underground activity. Due to its habitat, Rip's skin and plating can withstand the extreme geothermal energy under the earth's crust, its own body generating enough heat for its internal anatomy to reach well over 800 degrees Celsius if contained underground. On the surface, Rip can cool down to about 50 degrees with no adverse effects, though if it is agitated, its internal temperature can spike up to 1000 degrees, its breath turning into a storm of pyroclastic material as indigestible molten rock and metal is expelled from its first stomach. This enraged state is only seen during its rampages along the coast of America and, on one occasion, Tokyo.
