Well, in the way to keep some order xD, mate and I were talking about it a little, and we thought, dat every god, for every culture, could keep the range of his powers with the people dat believe in them (from the time they were "created" by the humans' mind, till our era).
But, since, not many people believe in them now, they separate their work by regions only xD cuz problems between gods now... are seen as bad as humans see bad fights. But they are gods, so, they need to be a little "better" than us, maybe they fight sometimes, but not in a totally rude way. They grow up with us, they are like us

Funny thing is, this is basically in character for Ratataosk from the norse myths that mention him. He was a notorious gossip, and was basically an insult-delivery system between an unnamed eagle atop the world tree, and the dragon nidhogg beneath it.
