Description This is a pencil, brush, pen and ink illustration of the ghost Asako from my story, 'The Moonlit Corridor'.
I'm a self-taught artist who has been drawing since childhood, and writing since a teen. I'm a fan of film, music, anime and Cosplay. Professionally I'm a certified Master Instructor of Traditional Korean Chung Do Kwan Tae Kwon Do, and spend over 60 hours a week at the dojang (Tae Keon Do school). I write or do artwork between classes and at night when home.

Thank you. I'm currently preparig to do more illustrations for 'The Moonlit Corridor', and of course that means more drawings of this main character, Asako. I'll post them on this site.

Super thanks. Comments like this from other artists, regardless of media, mean a lot to me. We all share the burden of creating things that didn't exist before took the time to bring them into existence.

Thank you. The illustration means a lot to me since it is of the ghost, Asako, from my novella 'The Moonlit Corridor', which took four years to complete.

(never too old to learn I guess)

Thank you for the comment. And you're right about learning; never too old to learn...it's an ongoing process without conclusion.

You seem to have done great at teaching yourself how to draw! You've got a great sense of anatomy and a very unique way of shading, it looks so nicely smooth and three-dimensional.

Thanks for the comments. I'm still learning to draw, and I'm grateful to all the artists that gave me advise or tips. I learned a lot about shading from artist Steve Fabian.

1.Red Dragons, n. Slang for "EFFING AMAZING." Usually used to indicate masculine greatness
2. Red Dragons, n. The name of a skater gang from the 80's.

Thanks for educating me on that...I'll have to remember that from now onward. I'm glad you like that picture of Asako from 'The Moonlit Corridor'. I spent 4 years writing that story. I'm in the process of doing more artwork for it, but also busy writing a sci-fi story, 'Daemon Glitch', so the process is slow.
Thanks again for comment.
