there was Bennifer ... now there is TomKat ... Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes.I didn't make that shit up. the writers made it up.
made 3gb of images during the premiere of Batman Begins. Moved 12 photos to the wire. this was my favourite.
odd experience with mr. cruise tonight. he saw me shooting with a leica and says, "man, i love that camera."
i said, "me too."
he retorts, "it's so old-school. i'll be you get 'in the groove' when you're shooting that."
"yes, tom, i do."
just play along.
ya' know.

There's some weirdness in their faces man... their mouths are almost identical, but their eyes are saying totally different things. I swear that guy only looks sincere when he's acting.

I love the expressions (tom's reminds me of the old risky business days) it just makes me laugh every time I see it now. Like many, I'm sure have said the dof staying sharp on tom's hand and on katie's eyes is oustanding - that really illustrates the moment well

Quite frankly, some of the stuff I've been hearing about this guy freaks me out, and yet you've managed to create a photo beautiful enough for me to love it anyway. Quite possibly one of the best photos I've seen of this couple. Not the junk you see on magazine front pages in the grocery.

Tom's so weird... i enjoy some of his stuff, but honestly, some interviews with Tom freak me out, as he seems to be on the verge of sanity or... explosion. I dunno. I don't care either.
All i know is that Tomcats (no, not TomKats) are the coolest shit since Top Gun. Man i love that movie... I still want to buy such shades (Aviators?), but they don't come cheap here and are pretty rare.
And, oh, i'd forget to comment on the photo - great work Chris, as always. I think it's important to appreciate the fact that you're showing your really good and really personal work here. Thanks.
