Yeah I love that pic of mine... I tried to fix it in photoshop cause as you can see it's got streaks at the bottom but it made it worse. I really love that pic because it was lined up perfect with the dogs being black white and black lol!

I know that well. Seeing that it reminds me of the seedy side off the strip. great capture.

Elvis lives! I've always imagined Vegas to be some really surreal, excentric and tacky place. To be fair I've more than likely seen this exact scene before (or something very close to it) at the seafront of my home town of Scarborough. I hate the cheap, tacky seaside look but it makes interesting Martin Parr-like photos.

"then again, the fuckers serve pepsi almost exclusively on the strip.
that sucks in and of itself."
Haha I share the same sentiment. It sure sucks when a place serves Pepsi exclusively. They keep having to resort to doing this in order to get Coke's market share.

awesome!
my best friend lives there in culver city (we'll be staying at her place), and a film producer my mother worked with in czech lives there, as well, and i gotta meet up with him.
i would love to meet you... i was hoping my mother could come along, too, but she has some stuff to take care of in japan. dammit!
i'm coming with my sis, and since my mother won't be joining us this time, instead of 1 week, we'll probably be staying only mon 4/2~thu 4/5 (or till fri). lotsa stuff to do in nyc during the weekends!

Isn't it strange that all of the Elvis impersonators always depict him after he became old and fat. They never show the young Elvis!! hehe!
That tells you something about the age and condition of the mimics!

everything and nothing all in one --
in India -- since you are the foreigner -- the taxi drivers try and scheme out of you enough money -- so they take you in circles before you reach th destination -- making it worth their while -- too bad this time -- when i was there -- my mother knew the roads -- the minute the taxi went off the path -- quite alot of words exhanged from my mother to the driver -- anyway -- we stopped the taxi -- got off -- and guess what -- our destination was just two blocks away -- we walked -- later days

I really appreciate the fact that you actually write something to go with your images. I am so fucking sick of ...
That is not a discription folks! God forbid any of you dot dot dotters ever actually have to speak about your art work because you'd just end up mumbling dot dot dot, and the guy interviewing you would look at you like your some kind of super idiot (not unlike the most famous super idiot the Pres) Also thanks for the details of the shot, ie camera lens fstop, shutter, speed dev ect. I really appreciat that too.
Ok ok so I am not exactly one to talk but My details are at least 25 or so words including location, film or dig, development and post process, and a story if I have one to go with the image.
Have a great day.
Later

I want an exotic car!
I just like that you can have 34 moments of frozen time that you can turn into any number of any size pictures of that moment in time, and you can fit all 34 of them into a tiny little canister, and it's all compact and shit.
Yep, and shit.

I 'd this, not because of the picture, but because of your comments about it. I get it, the time thing. I mean, you just think back, think over everything, there's just so much that goes on, in any given amount of space, large, small, whatever; things happen and the only way of being able to go back is to see the picture to remember that exact moment where you had that epiphany, or that special moment, anything of significance, or even just nothing at all. Just... memories. And then you're hit by a train called the present. Saddening isn't it?
