"Leave me alone, Timon. I'm not in the mood."----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think Simba is very forgiving in the first film. Timon is really quite rude sometimes, and I imagine it must have upset Simba from time to time.
I also wanted to draw some vent art b/c I am in a foul mood recently.
However, I am really proud of the background on this one. I spent as much time on it as I did on Simba, which (I hope) shows.

I really love this-- his expression is dead on and the background is gorgeous- while nice and easy on the eyes, it just adds so much more to the piece

UGH YES. I'm really glad you like it, especially the background. I usually rush them >.> Maybe I'm just sensitive, but some of Timon's comments would have me thinking 'bout hulk-smashing him if I were Simba. "Talk about your fixer-upper" - *hulk SMASH*.

Honestly! He's just so rude about it and tends to put Pumbaa and Simba's ideas down like they're ridiculous, I don't know how they put up with him!

I love this! Simba looks very accurate in your style and you really nailed his expression
The idea is also very coherent.... I have to agree that Timon isn't the most delicate guy so yeah sometimes Simba must have felt annoyed at some points. It's so hard to put up with undelicate people when you are in deep suffering.

I'd have to agree, Simba is far too forgiving toward Timon. Yes, he and Pumbaa saved Simba's life but it doesn't mean Simba should shrug off whenever they're rude (Mainly Timon) and such, even a close father and his kid(s) can still fight/get annoyed.
