That's really cool...but the painting around the gem bit is a bit rough, is this the finished thing?

Oh, yeah it is pretty bad. I actually haven't finished the gem, it's going to be gold leafed. And if there's anything you're willing to trade, you can subtract the value of the item from the total cost of the sword (the cheapest version is $160 US)

Well, the reason I keep bringing up trading is because I reeeealy want a Golden Wii Remote Plus. If you have one and want to trade for a Master Sword, I'd gladly do so. It would be a lower end spray painted one, of course, but if you want to contribute 5 quid I can upgrade it to the silver leafed version.
So yeah, if you or someone you know has a gold wii remote plus and wants to trade for a sword, lemme know. Please.
