Sir Ian McKellen & Elijah WoodThe photo I drew this from isn't exactly one of my favorites, don't get me wrong, I like it, it's just that Elijah is sorta looking at Ian strangely as if to say "Oh my god Ian, what the hell is wrong with your eye?! Is it infected?" So then you're probably wondering why I drew it, well I decided on this one for a couple of reasons. One, both Ian and Elijah are extraordinary actors, two, Ian is an long time gay rights activist and I admire him very much for that. And three I've wanted to draw them both for a while now, and here is this photo that has them both in it, so I said 'why not' and just drew it and here it is. Hope you all enjoy.

Very good job on the details on the sweater, their faces, and ESPECIALLY Ian McKellan's expression. It is very much him, with the slight frown and the bags under the eyes

Wow that's an amwazing drawing... Your right about Elijah's expression though... but then again I've always found it hard to find a picture of Elijah with out a wierd "I'm going to die..." "What's up with you?" or "your really wierd!" Look... So Kudos!

You did a great job! I could tell who it was when I first looked at it before I read the description. I've always thought that Sir Ian Mckellen would be hard to draw because of his distinctive face. I like it because of the matching turtlenecks and the general composition. They contrast each other very well, and it's interesting because one is old and the other young.... maybe I'm looking to much into it!

nah you're not looking into it too much, I considered all the same things when drawing this, but decided to leave all that out of the discription and let everybody pick up on that stuff themselves ya know? i'm glad you got it, and thank you very much for the comments!

Really nice work. I particularly like the huge contrast between Sir Ian's jacket and turtleneck--it really makes the image pop off the page.
