Where do I begin with this piece?

I love the line work, first of all.The way you've drawn Cignetta, the way she seems concentrated on the game-while she twirls a curl of hair....Is she playing at being flirtatious to sway her opponent?Or she is mildly interested at this man who is neither vampire nor human?I love her (and Loki's ) expressive faces, both teasing and yet giving little away. And Loki appears to be admiring her beauty -or perchance her soul, or the fact she doesn't have a heartbeat-.And the fact that he is just waiting...watching to see where her Knight lands...

I can almost imagine the conversation between them ( Voice of Wisdom:SILENCE, DO NOT PAIR THEM!....Me: But I want to..for a while.. Voice of Wisdom:NO!)

Loki: Tell me, Signorina...how is it you are so cold to the touch yet you light up the room with your warm smile and beauty?
Cignetta:...Well, how is it you survived those thugs the first time we met? And you are faster and stronger than I-
Loki: Such impropriety, giving more questions than the required answers.All in good time my dear.Check.
Cignetta: Well..will nothing loosen that tongue of yours?
Loki: ....(Laughs) Do my ears deceive me? Is that an attempt at seduction, Signorina Winters?
Cignetta: Such formality, Signore Laufeyson? And such impudence....Are you sure you want the answers you seek?
LokiPauses)...What do you have to hide behind the white, Cignetta? All this teasing....
Cignetta: Afraid I will disappoint? (Laughs) Ask Kyeran (her sire). He claims I never do so.
Loki: Do you think he would approve of...this?
Cignetta: Honestly Signore, we are merely two people playing chess--
Loki: A young woman in the prime of her Life, beautiful,desired...alone...with one such as I...Check.
Cignetta:....Prime of life?(Laughs sadly yet softly) I care nor for what he thinks any more. The fires have gone cold and I can never forgive him, Loki....Never.
Loki: Then why stay?
Cignetta: I have no where to go....Check.
Loki:....Theres always room for one more-
Cignetta: You're not a pimp are you? (The tease in her voice is back)
Loki: .....Really now?!
Cignetta: Laughs aloud....I jest, Signore! A jest! And really, are you so sure you want my cold carcass next to yours?
Loki:....I can be just as cold....if not colder, my sweet.(The joy suddenly seems sucked out of him)
Cignetta:...We would be like two icicles together you and I.
Loki: ....Perhaps.(A smile)...My lady? Your move....

(Outside, watching, Kyeran keeps himself from storming in and disrupting the game. He cares not for the newcomer....but feels several deep stabs of jealousy and envy....For in a space of one week, Loki has his beloved fledgling laughing and smiling....a rare occurrence. He also wonders what manner of creature he is....)
