The realm within Theron and Feral's connected minds is now the staging grounds for a heated game of tug 'o war, seeing whether the Light or the Darkness will claim sovereignty over the conduit between beings. Feral's mastery of shadows and the pitch black gives him a great advantage when it comes to controlling the very environment they now go to war within, employing the countless dark thoughts that once clouded his equal's mind to distract and eventually trap him for the plan ahead. And yet with all this dark energy flowing all around this realm inside his head, Theron's inner light, unlocked by Eibon and merged with the sweet memories coursing from within his Piety Blade, give him all the strength and power he needs to truly equal, if not outmatch his dark duplicate, holding the line against this lord of the Darkness and prepare for the time to light our darkest hour.
This is merely the first of many "internal" battles that are and will be taking place, as more and more Darkness begin to stir from their slumber. And as they awake, they too will fight their origins for freedom and dominance of the mind. But the duel going on between Theron and Feral may prove just how much the stakes are place for both sides of this coming war.
