Mojo Jojo

Alias: Jojo

Initially beginning as Utonium’s loyal pet chimpanzee and lab partner, Jojo was unfortunately affected by the lab accident, along with the girls but with different side effects. Jojo was a bit too close to the chemical explosion and the impact of the explosion cause Jojo to grow a few feet tall, turn his skin green, and made his brain grow three times its size. This in turn increased his chimpanzee intelligence to new levels and allowed to speak fluent English. Despite the accident, Jojo still stuck by the professor’s side and continued his work as a lab assistant. Jojo came up with some amazing blueprints and plans from his newfound intelligence, but the Professor was too focused on his superpowered daughters to notice his genius. Feeling unloved and neglected, Jojo ran away from home and began to resent the girls to the point of hate and jealousy. With a newfound goal to destroy the girls for stealing the Professor’s attention from him, Jojo became a sociopathic mad supervillain ape by the name of Mojo Jojo. Heartbroken by Jojo’s turn to villainy, Utonium, feeling responsible for what happened to Jojo, along with the girls try to figure out a way to get their old ape friend back.

Abilities: Superhuman intellect, primal ferocity

Notes:

· This iteration of Mojo Jojo is a more tragic and sympathetic take on the character.

· His insanity and villainous role in the series is reminiscent to Norman Osborne / Green Goblin from the Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon. He, like Norman, turns from enemy to ally of the heroes toward the series’s end.

· His design borrows elements from the intelligent apes from the Planet of the Apes film series.
