Alias: Jetfire Janice

A female racer and a talented young engineer. She aspired to create her own lineup of custom race cars for her car enthusiast boyfriend Danny Roger. When entered into the Spearuby Hills Grand Prix as a contestant, she saw that many of the racers' cars were specially built and had materials perfect for her project. She dressed up as the ghost of Danny's great grandfather Ken Roger aka Adrenaline Ken aka The Phantom Racer and abducted the racers one by one, stealing their cars and dismantling and taking parts from them for her vehicles, and even attempting to steal Speed Buggy for his parts. She even had her own race car built and upgraded with advanced tech and engineering (like the Mystery Machine) to allow it to take on the look and form of Adrenaline Ken's car, The Speed Demon.

Clues:

A fog machine. Janice used it to create a thick fog which allowed her to disappear and divert away from the other racers, and making it sound like she was abducted. This also enabled her to sneak up and abduct the other racers undetected.

A tube of lipstick. Initially thought it was left behind when Janice was "taken" but in actuality, fell out of the pocket of the ghost's suit.

A secret garage containing the stolen race cars with their car parts missing. Velma and Fred knew that Janice was behind it as despite being abducted, her own car was not among the other racers' stolen cars, being that it was disguised as the Speed Demon.
