Finally! after a marathon fight with scanner software that refuses to work I have managed to upload my (belated) entry in : 's anime jam closing today.I had a lot more in mind to do but the real world has been demanding my attention a lot this month, sorry, mate.
Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind from Studo Ghibli is perhaps my favorite anime ever! I really like the way she sticks up for the giant insects and I REALLY want one of her glider thingies. Aquarelles, marker and white gell pen.

Have you checked out the manga? I bought the whole series for Michael for his birthday AGES ago, and although I haven't read them myself yet, he says the Ghibli film only covers the first volume or so of the ongoing story, and the rest is EVEN AWESOMER.
