Supposedly a live-action version is in the works, but not much on casting news. It's like it keeps getting shelved then pulled back out again. I guess Disney isn't sure what to do. Right now Peter is still filming the reboot of Suicide Squad. No word yet which character he's playing. James Gunn has yet to reveal who it is.

Β I keep checking the IMDB page, now and then, for news, but yeah,Β still nothing yet; I hope after all that, that doesn't happen. 
I bet it's real headscratcher for them; Hond has always been a tough and awkward movie for them to approach, be interesting what direction they take if indeed it does go ahead- a more family-friendly affair (well,Β lol, as best as it can be ) or for older audiences andΒ you know, screw the kids XD

Oh, I know, it's extremely controversial, especially now with all the woke and me-too crap. They're leery to remake it, probably why it keeps getting shelved. Society needs to just chill out, it's a story. Β

True, it's a shame when it can get in the way of storytelling sometimes, especially if it prevents them from taking risks for the sake of being 'safe', if anything Hond has a very good message behind it and pretty relevant today more than ever.
I certainly want it to go ahead, even if it's just a chance to get more merch LOL!

Oh, no, that's Erik the Phantom of the Phantom of the Opera. It's those cool little statues from the San Francisco music box company. I have one of the snowglobes of the mirror scene, it's really cool! He's steepling his hands like Frollo tho, lol!

There is a really cool statue tho of Frollo sitting in the throne, but he's sulking and arms crossed. I have that one, got it at Disneyland some years ago. Oh, that one, yes, I had been debating for ages whether to get it, as it's really expensive-especially with the shipping/import costs, it's quite eye-watering XD But it did inspire me to make my own throne chair for the doll I made a few years back, it was certainly helpful for reference.
