I made this back when I thought Yang was going after Ruby. Hence where this idea came from. But thankfully all I had to do was change some of the dialog and it still works.
Ahoy, me fellow shippers! Today I bring yea Lancaster and my personal favorite Dragonslayer, both in one comic together at long last!
This one here actually allows me to ask a question, when will Yang and Ruby not agree on something and actually be pitted against each other? You know it is coming. Whether they fight over the same love interest or over something else, it is bound to happen.
So that is what this is. Yang finds Ruby as she wants to take her back home only to notice that Jaune has matured, Yang not being the subtle type speaks her mind which in turn causes Ruby to finally speak up. And poor Jaune has no idea what is going on.
That is all. Dead simple. (Update: I forgot to mention how much of a pain it was to draw Ren's face for some reason. Out of all the things that could have given me trouble, that was it. Over an hour or so just to get his face looking right!) Though I must admit, I think I did a good job on the backgrounds for once. owo
Now off to make the next Date Night... unless I get distracted. Again. -w-"

To me they'll only be rebound girls for Jaune because they don't believe in him before so why should either of them hook up with them. Ruby only pity him and Yang only like him cause he strong and hot. No matter what he'll never love them like that.

Things may change as time goes on, and we never know where the franchise will go. For all we know Jaune will fall in love with and marry Salem, then the two go and live happily ever after. Now THAT, would be weird.
Ruby has shown subtle hints at liking him, but I fear she is too innocent to realize any feeling if they are there.
As for Yang, first step in a possible relationship is attraction, then flirting, dating and so on.
