Description
Name: Howard
Age: 6 months [not fully mature]
Gender: Male
Personality: Howard is a very calm and lazy animal. He tends to just sit around and do nothing. It's very rare for him to actually be active. The only time he is active is when he gets food. Obviously, he's food-motivated. Sometimes, during mating season, Howard will puff up and seem grumpy. But really, he's a harmless thing.
Likes:
- Food [based off the proper diet]
- Laying down and doing nothing/sleeping
- Getting the top of his head and his back pet
- Getting attention in general
- Sitting in Calico's lap or on her head [He likes to feel tall]
Dislikes:
- Anything/Anyone taking his attention time with Calico away [it will look like he's glaring/squinting at you]
Story:
Calico was on a mission with her squad out by the Broad Channel settlement. The team decided to set up base camp for the night. Calico was assigned to patrol the surrounding area. While on her patrol, she noticed a lone Radtoad along the shoreline of a small body of water. She decided to move closer and study him for a moment. Calico made a note that judging by it's size, the young Radtoad was a male. She also noticed a few digits on his feet were missing.
Out of curiosity, the Senior Initiate collected a few bugs in the area. She carefully placed them and fed them to the toad. With every bug, he would move closer and closer until he eventually hopped right into her lap and relaxed there. Calico was cautious as she pet the toad. He would puff out his sack and lean into her touch, clearly enjoying the affection. She thought about it for a while before finally deciding she would adopt this pet. She kept him in her bag to hide him from her squadmates. She would be sure to keep some bugs, and eventually create a makeshift carrier for him to reside in while he traveled in her bag.
Upon returning to St. Patrick's, Calico would name this Radtoad, Howard. He would become her best friend.
Finally got one of Calico's pets done! Little Howard. Toad Howard. Radtoads were created by me, and they can be found in FNYC or in my gallery
