uhhh, I just use the basic round brush at 100% opacity on photoshop and do a basic sketch and then clean it up a little by erasing any unnecessary lines and adding a few details. Then I lock the layer and make it a kind of lighter color that isn't black. I'm not sure if that helps any??? ;o;

oh yes, I use my tablet with the pen pressure turned on.
