Sorry ... but "his"? I think you're mistaken. This is a female, the males have red spots on his face. I know what I'm talking about, I had one just like this one and her name was Wendy

This type of Amazon is monomorphic. This means there is no clear visual difference between male and female. You need a DNA/Feather or surgical sexing test.

Ooo~H! Colorful!
We have five birds: 2 diamond doves, 1 parakeet, 1 cockateil, and 1 sun conure. ^^
Maybe... just maybe, not to copy your ideas... I should try my best to take pictures of them and the others outside lol.

I will have to dig some out, going to give him a shower today, he always spreads his wings out for the water, trouble is i cannot use a camera and spray him at the same time.

no worries! he is approx 15-16 inches.
search for "potty train parrot" and you will find plenty of advice, basically it is knowing your parrot and what he does prior to pooping, once you know the signs you pick the bird up and place them on their cage/perch where ever you want them to go, then step back and when they squat say something like "go poop", they will soon associate "go poop" with what they are doing, next stage is when you see the signs to encourage them to go to their toilet place or put them there and tell them as a command to "go poop".
That`s pretty much how to train them, best not to make a big issue out of it with the bird or try to get them to go if they dont show signs of needing to.

He loves earrings and can pull them out of an ear in a second, he also likes to get in your mouth, generally when your eating as he is a greedy little sod, i make him go in his cage at meal times now.
