I have a Springer Spaniel myself (there's a decent pic at the front of my gallery xD) and she always gives people THE LOOK. It's adorable, you can't help but hug em!

He's lovely...but they're crazy dogs! Had a spaniel mixed with...well...something, myself, never stayed still for a second

I love English Springer Spaniels. 
They do have a lot of energy, that's for sure.

Yes he is a pet, we got him from a rescue centre, they had him back 4 times from different people who could not do anything with him, he had been beaten originally and the last person to have him beat him too, all in 4 years
He is now 6.5yo and i think a pretty happy dog, yes he has plenty of energy and is very good at flushing game out of the undergrowth/woods.

I haven't had any Springers, since my old male Pat O'Rick died ten years ago at the age of 16. He was a wonderful dog of good temperament and very smart. He also, loved to flush game and was a competent retriever/tracker as well.
I am so happy for your dog, that he finally wound up in a wonderful home.
