Another old pic that doesn't include cringes, like most of my old junk. I was learning to draw Ghlibi-style, which is actually similar to the style I was drawing before I rediscovered anime.I don't remember if I had to use reference for the pose, but I did read the artbook as well as the film comics to study the style.

I don't think I can draw Ghibli style anymore though some people still can recognize the style in my stuff. That style is deceptively hard to draw though. It looks easy but then when you actually try to draw it, you find out that it's not that easy.
