Now before I get too much into this, please refer to the previous images done detailing this project in question:

I'm meant to be taking a break now that I've completed four out of eight of the sets, but I couldn't resist rushing ahead and completing the Mobian designs while I was streaming- I figured these would be the most interesting to have done anyway, haha. I will make strides to complete the last four sets soon.

Just to quickly summarize, lately I've been working on a project revolving around the Fragmented Deities concept involved with my Sonic Expanse lore- The Fragmented Deities in particular are the fractured aspects of the Primordial Deities in my Sonic world; Solaris, Gaia, Argus and Illumina. These four are the creators of the physical universe and serve as a higher power in my universe's history. Each Primordial Deity has two halves; Mind and Power, so there are two halves of each Primordial that make up the eight Fragmented Deities in this group. More about this idea below.

As you can see in the linked off images above (the Mephiles set in particular details the context of the forms), a Fragmented Deity can manifest in a variety of different ways depending on the circumstances behind the initial fracturing of the deity, or the purpose behind their respective manifestation. Each deity is based on a pre-existing concept in the canon game lore, so only a handful of these designs are actually relevant, but this project aims to add consistency with the deities' connection and to give a firmer understanding behind the greater powers in the universe.

This particular lineup is the Mobian Form, which is when a Fragmented Deity has manifest within the Chaos Dimension (physical plane) and has grown and adapted to the realm's natural energy- Essentially making them mortal.

It's a common misconception with the idea behind my Halves that it revolves around Good and Evil or Light and Dark, but my primary direction between the halves is to place the focus on Mind and Power (the reason being, in the case of Mephiles and Iblis, both may technically be considered evil, while in the case of Lumina and Void- while Void was circumstantially the villain, neither of the two were evil and were both more or less good; Both sets have in common however Mephiles relating more the Solaris' Mind and Lumina was the same for Illumina, while Iblis and Void were destructive entities of Power).

The Mind is the aspect that relates more to the original Primordial the Fragment is a half of, generating more from their original personality and intelligence as well as associated gender; while the Power is the half that has more connection to the Primordial's source energy and ability to connect with the natural flow of energies in the surrounding atmosphere (Chaos Energy).
