- Symptoms: flushed complexion, hypersensitivity, unusual fixation, loss of memory(?), bouts of psychosis;

Warren lived a short life aboard the Space Colony ARK, having eventually succumb to his ailment while in his early teens. His death and legacy became a driving force for Professor Gerald's continued research on a cure for Neuro-Immune Deficiency Syndrome, which Warren's younger sister, Maria, also suffers from. Observation of Warren until his passing revealed a greater understanding of the fatal condition for future medical research.

His body was returned to his family on Earth for burial. Maria possesses no memory of her brother; It is however unknown if her memory loss is a contributing symptom of her NIDs- or if outside memory manipulation was involved. Maria would develop a deeper fixation for the planet's surface.

So as you can see here, this is a young alternate Doctor Warpnik from Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog re-purposed to suit the existing SEGA-verse. I'm going to do a lot of these eventually, showing off alternate continuity characters to fit into the wider Expanse continuity.

I've made Warren here Maria's older brother; Warpnik himself is already Eggman's estranged cousin in AoStH, so I figured instead of making a third child for Gerald to receive grandchildren from, why not just keep it at two- with Warren and Maria coming from one of his children, and Colin and Ivo coming from the other.

I also use Warpnik's physical and mental characteristics to also further expand on the consequences of long-term untreated NIDs.
