So i know this piece is simple, and it doesn't necessarily demonstrate my point, so let me explain.
the phrase expressed in this picture is 幻想, 'gensou', meaning 'illusion'.
i chose this word to be placed in this picture because of this reoccurring concept: lines.
lines are not really lines, but much rather the contrast between two objects, in my eyes. like if you were to place your hand on a table, you could see that there is obviously an outline of your hand. but no, this is the difference of contrast and value of the table and hand.
lines are an illusion.
