Description It looks better in real life but the scanner did a pretty good job of not killing the colors.
It took about a half an hour to color (colored pencils) and probably the first time I did something this awesome

Hope you like it

Very nicely done! I always have a hard time deciding whether I want to draw the scales out or not, they just take so much time of drawing the same shape over and over again XD But you definitely hit them very well, the face is so detailed! Beautiful job!

Wow, thank you very much for that comment!
Yeah, scales need to be balanced too, though. Otherwise there's too many and it looks all mucky or not enough and it doesn't look like there are any there.

Yes, that's very true Iused to draw scales all over my dragons, but realized that it just crowds the picture rather than adding to it. So now I usually just add a few scales here and there.

WHOA THIS IS SO EPIC!!

As a dragon fan (I actually used to draw a lot of dragons but haven't submitted any pictures...Wait, is this a dinosaur...? they're kind of similar XD but you know jkust making sure), I have to say that this is a great work.

The scales are put into appropriate places; not something that I've seen often, the shading makes it look 3 dimensional, and this picture deserves to be featured or something. It's amazing!

Wow, Thanks!

and yes, it is a dragon. I was watching a dragon movie while I did this, too XD

I have had a lot of practice with scales, because I too, am a dragon fan! On the shading I tried to remember what you had done when you colored and tried to mimic that.

No problem

Oh okay good *whew* I was right

Really? you based the shading off of my techniques? That's awesome! I feel special now
