LOL It is super cute!! I love the expression on his little face!
HOW MUCH? $200 for a fluffy weasel? You're joking me ..... Wow. My mum's cousin used to keep ferrets when she was younger too.

I had two but at different times. Sweet isn't exactly a word I would use to described them...more like little devils. It is their nature to get into everything, unlimited curiosity and a body that can get them into any small opening that catches their attention. This image really depicts their general attitude towards life.
A Ferret Story ...
Chrissie was just a 6 week old baby ferret when I adopted her. One day shortly after I brought her home she got into some big trouble chewing on my husband's sock. My husband didn't think it was cute or funny. He decided to scold Chrissie for her behaviour by picking her up with his hand around her front legs and chest and shaking her (not too hard plus they are very flexible so this was not physically hurtful but still very alarming) while he yelled at her.
If you have ever seen a ferret's mouth you will note that they have a set of long fang teeth (I believe they are called canines?)..well Chrissie timed it perfectly...as she was being shaken in front of my partners face, she took the opportunity to reach out and bite him leaving twin lines of bright red blood down each of his nostrils! He promptly let her go and she scampered off unharmed while he howled in pain...I never laughed so hard in my life.
I kept Chrissie her entire life. She was the snuggliest little creature, regularly traveling with me by wrapping herself across my shoulders and neck. At other times she would go everywhere with me in a carry sack but she never forgot what he had done and she never forgave him for it. He was the only person she ever bit.

oh wow go Chrissie! Bet he didn't shake her like that again! I have only ever held my neighbors once and she was really wriggly! Who needs kids when you have ever curious ferrets! I love watching them in their run at the bottom of the garden, they love to wind the rotweiller Harry up! its very funny, he chases the up and down but can never get to them to play with them properly!
