Been meaning to say for ages that I just love this! So cute!
There's a renaissance painting of a lady holding a polecat - and the pose here reminds me very much of the pose of polecat in that painting - and the expression on it's/her face as well - it's such a beautiful expression. (and I'm imagining your picture as a jill ferret, don't know why!)

I think so, yes - My Gran has a print of it at home, and that's how I know it - although I don't think I've ever actually checked the artist, it is very similar to his style!

Aaa would make sense I love Devinci's art. The man was brilliant not just in the artistic side of things. I recently picked up a book of his and found that picture. That was mainly the reason I bought it.. I admit. hehe.

Ah he's cute! I used to have a ferret. His name was kalooa. I can't remember why we named him that. Your ferret reminds me of the Redwall series by Brian Jacques.

Yeah you definitely should. My favorite books in the series were Redwall, Mattimeo, and Mossflower. I think that was the order those three were written in, thoush chronologically Mossflower comes before Redwall. I hope you like them!
