I've been on a Sailor Moon tangent recently...watching the whole series again and drawing sailor moon art. Man I love that show! Tuxedo Kamen is...not as cool or dashing as I thought he was when I was 9 (but his roses can pierce concrete which I guess makes him awesome.) Although Sailor Moon (the ditz) is probably the least interesting character to me, I love her persona of princess Serenity. And this is not her original dress, just my usual desire to draw random pretty patterns and things~ I think went a little overboard and got too excited with the gold...I made this piece for Otakon Art Show this year. This piece measures 16" x 20" and is done in watercolor and gold pen.

Moon looks so lovely here as Serenity, the colors and pose are perfect! Flowers in the background are a good touch, too!

I really love this print. I'm going to frame it when I get a chance. I have a question for you, do you find drawing easy, or was it hard when you were first starting out?

aww thank you! Drawing is rarely easy! I always have trouble but the key is to push forward and finish every picture better than the last. I have to work hard to persevere through every picture and not get discouraged to finish it.
